To set up grades and grading methods in Moodle, you can follow these steps:

1. Go to Site administration > Grades.
2. In the Grade settings section, configure the following settings:
   • Grade display type: This determines how grades are displayed in the gradebook. You can choose to display them as real numbers, percentages, or letters.
   • Grade aggregation type: This determines how grades from different activities are aggregated to calculate the overall course grade. 5. For each grade item, you can configure the following settings:

   • Grade weight: This determines how much the grade item will contribute to the overall course grade.
   • Grade due date: This determines when the grade item is due.
6. Once you have configured the grade settings, grading methods, and grade items, you can start grading student work.
