Editorial & placement disclosure

We sell link placements and guest posts. That creates an obvious incentive to overstate what they do, so this page sets out exactly what we claim and what we refuse to claim.

Three kinds of placement

Guest contribution. A piece accepted on merit because it suits the publication's readers. Bylined as a contributor. The publisher can decline it.

Sponsored placement. The publication is paid to carry it. It still passes editorial review, but the placement is commercial rather than earned. Labelled as sponsored or paid.

Editor post. Written and published by the publication's own editorial team, labelled according to their policy.

Link attributes

Whether a link carries rel="sponsored", rel="nofollow" or is an editorial follow is decided by the publisher and their policy — not by us, and not by the buyer. Links exchanged for payment are expected to carry sponsored ornofollow.

We tell you the expected attribute before you approve a placement. We do not promise a follow link unless it has been contractually agreed with that publisher in writing.

What we will not claim

That a placement will produce a specific ranking, traffic figure or revenue result.
That a paid link is "undetectable", "Google-safe" or immune from a penalty.
That a third-party authority score (DR, DA or similar) proves quality. Those are vendor estimates of a link profile, not search engine signals.
That placements are permanent across a whole network. Permanence is per publisher.
That we control a publisher's editorial decisions. We do not.

Risk

Paid links carry risk. Search engine guidelines treat undisclosed paid links that pass ranking signals as manipulative. We reduce that risk through relevance, editorial review and correct attributes. We do not eliminate it, and neither can anyone else.

How we qualify publishers

Topical relevance, evidence of a real audience, a genuine editorial process, sensible outbound-link behaviour, indexation, and disclosure practice. A publication that will print anything for a fee is not one we want to place you in.
